Jacques Hattingh

Jacques Hattingh completed an MBA at the University of Stellenbosch business school in 1987. He founded First Global Wealth Management in September of 1999, became co-founder of First Global Asset management in 2004 and served on the investment team for 12 years.
He is the founder and key individual for Engelberg Asset Management started in 2014. Jacques has been managing assets in the financial services industry since 1995. Jacques also served as director on numerous company boards and as trustee on numerous trusts
Jacques is a family man, light aircraft pilot, cyclist, motorcycle tourer, snow skier, water skier, with a keen interest in engineering and problem solving. Jacques has been to over 78 countries, including North Korea.
Marcel Hattingh

Marcel Hattingh is part of the portfolio management team of the Engelberg funds with specific focus on the Engelberg Global fund.
Marcel studied a Bachelor of Commerce in Mathematical Sciences at the Stellenbosch University, followed by an Honours degree in Financial Risk Management at the Stellenbosch University.
Marcel did an internship at Investec Bank in London. He has been an avid cryptocurrency investor since 2015 and is always excited about new entrepreneurial or investment opportunities. His interests include camping and exploring the outdoors, baking, growing his own fresh produce and cultivating a lifestyle that is sustainable and environmentally friendly.
